About This Event

Show us your musical pride this fall in a showcase dedicated to the music you most want to share with the world. Make a one-month band with a group of other musicians, and choose how you want to show your pride:

  • Form a tribute band to the musical greats that inspired you. Make your Led Zeppelin cover band or whip out your gold suit for an Elvis-inspired set.
  • Famous songs about Pride, whether U2's Pride (in the Name of Love) or James Brown Say It Loud (I'm Black and I'm Proud).
  • Celebrate the recent Supreme Court decision with songs about gay pride and LGBTQ equality.

While musicians can interpret the 'Pride' theme in whatever form they'd like, we're particularly looking to welcome lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning musicians to participate and showcase their talents. Read more about how the Flashband Showcases work.

Musician Signup

Signing up is the first step.  Check the right column and secure your place in the showcase.  There are 40 guaranteed spots, and a waitlist for those that miss out.  All musicians and instruments are welcome.  Signup will remain open until the day of the Meet & Greet Jam.

$25 Registration fee covers:

  • Use of space and equipment at the Meet & Greet Jam
  • Use of backline gear at the Flashband Showcase (Amps, Drum Set, etc)
  • Organization and logistics by Flashband staff
  • Professional photos of you and your band at The Showcase (see past photos here)

Backstage members get free show participation and other perks! - find out more.
